| Gary has a long association with local government in Narracan, serving as a Councillor with the former City of Warragul and currently with the Baw Baw Shire.
His record of community service extends to the Warragul Hospital where he has been a board member for nine years.
He has also served on Boards of Management with primary and secondary schools in Warragul.
As a former contractor, Gary Blackwood understands the problems facing small business, particularly in smaller rural communities.
Gary is the fourth generation of the Blackwood family involved in the timber industry and two of his sons are carrying that tradition into a fifth generation. |
